The game requires you to use three characters to make your way through the cave Characters can only hold one item each but they can still perform actions while holding an item such as pulling a lever or pushing a box To switch between characters use the D Pad When first entering The Cave the three default trinkets that are required to enter the main portion of The Cave are the Jewelled Skull the Thespianship Award and the Cursed Guitar However if any of the characters failed to escape The Cave on a previous playthrough their skeletal remains and their object of desire will usually replace one
