Outlast Different Difficulties Normal enemies walk slowly you die in 3 or 4 hits a lot of batteries everywhere hard most enemies jog instead of walking while chasing you you die in 2 hits more limited supply of batteries but still enough to have nightvision running
Also enemies kill you a lot more quickly On Normal I think you can take more than five hits from a bat which is ridiculous and kills the tension because you can always just run away So I Variators are game difficulty modifiers that alters the gameplay experience through difficulty restrictions and sometimes benefits for the player in The Outlast Trials

Does anyone actually know what changed when you switch difficulties the only things that I could think of is 1 Carrying less batteries and bandages 2 Enemies do more damage Higher Difficulties more enemies can 1 hit kill you also less max batteries and on insane there are no saves you die quit to go to work etc start over from beginning
